Teeth Cleanings

Our teeth cleanings are thorough and effective. We provide an in-depth exam of not just your teeth and mouth, but your jaw joints and muscles as well. We also examine your gums for symptoms of periodontitis, and perform a screening for oral and neck cancers. At the same time, we remove plaque and tartar from the teeth and check for developing cavities.

Based on these exams, we can determine a treatment plan if needed. Complex dental treatment planning is available for patients with more extensive dental needs.

Preventive Care

At our practice, we are committed to patient education and preventive services. If we can prevent it, we don’t have to drill it! We instruct our patients on proper oral hygiene and provide demonstrations so they know the best methods for brushing, flossing, and maintaining their oral health. Our recommendations are evidence-based to create the best possible results. Our goal is to empower our patients to be a key part of their dental care, not just a passenger along for the ride!

Periodontal Treatment

Your gum health is just as important as your dental health! When your gums are not properly taken care of, they can develop irritation, otherwise known as gingivitis. When left untreated, gingivitis can develop into periodontitis, or disease of the structures surrounding the tooth. This can even lead to tooth loss!

That’s why we provide gum therapy using laser treatment. To prevent periodontitis, we perform scaling and root planing. We use a laser to clean beneath the gum line, eliminating plaque and bacteria that can cause irritation and infection. Then we smooth out the roots of the teeth so the gums can securely adhere, blocking out bacteria. By using a laser, we can provide more comfortable, precise care!

Endodontics

Endodontics refers to root canal therapy. When a tooth develops a cavity that has reached the root, or the nerve within the tooth, it will need a root canal. During a root canal, we remove the decayed material from the tooth. After disinfecting the inside of the tooth to eliminate any remaining bacteria, we restore the tooth with a custom-created crown.

Oral Sedation

We strive to ensure all of our patients are as comfortable as possible while receiving the dental treatment they need to achieve their ideal smile. That means that if you are very nervous about receiving dental work, we can offer you an option for oral sedation! If you are interested in receiving oral sedation, our dentists will work with you to answer your questions and determine if it is right for you.
